Background
Birthright Books guides authors from a first idea to a printed, distributed book, with ghostwriting, editing, design, and distribution handled under one roof. Marlayna Glynn, an award-winning memoirist, wanted the press's online home to feel as considered as the books it produces, and to give prospective authors a clear sense of the process and the people behind it.
The brief
Marlayna came to us for a site that would stand out, explain the publishing process simply, and invite the right authors to get in touch. It needed an eye-catching, distinctive look without sacrificing clarity, and it had to be something the team could keep current as the catalogue grew.
What we built
We designed and developed a site that introduces the press, walks visitors through its step-by-step publishing process, and showcases its books and services. We layered in subtle design movement so the pages feel alive as you scroll, and structured the content so the memoir, biography, and legacy offerings each have their own space. The result is a warm, editorial presentation that reflects the care Birthright Books puts into every manuscript.
The result
The site draws regular compliments from the press's own audience, and Birthright Books has stayed on with us to maintain and update it over time. It gives the press a confident, professional storefront that helps turn interested readers into authors.
I love my website for my company, Birthright Books, and receive lots of compliments on it. OgreLogic brought eye-catching design movement to my site. I enjoy working with the group, and have engaged them to maintain my site.
